Re: Relive and Rewind
Role: Editor
About: As editor of the yearbook, I came up with our theme for the year which was words that started with "Re" that represented our school's community. I created the box cover which held the two volumes of the yearbook. The first volume contained typical sections such as student life, sports, and student portraits. The second volume focused on the history of my school, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Prince of Peace Christian School.
Even through the difficulty of moving online, my team and I finished the book and made the best yearbooks to date. I learned how to lead and motivate a team to work hard and produce the best work they could. My patience grew as I had to teach new members of the team how to use Adobe programs such as InDesign and Lightroom.
Awards: My team and I received the 4th place award for our yearbook, Re, at the Texas Association of Private and Public Schools State Competition in 2021.

Kn{own}
Role: Social Media Editor and Staff Member
About: For my first year on the yearbook team, our theme was Kn{own}. We explored how students, teachers, and faculty at Prince of Peace Christian School were known in the eyes of each other, their community, and God.
Throughout the year, I learned how to create beautiful spreads that highlighted different kinds of information, organize and take pictures at school events, and work as a team on a year-long project. I had the opportunity to apply and refine my design skills that I learned from classes I took up to that point in my high school career.
