About: wkrm Project Studio, a student-run, faculty-led design studio housed at the Department of Fine Arts building at the University of Texas at Austin, collaborated with the School of Design and Creative Technologies during the Spring 2023 semester.
Our team studied the use of Anna Hiss Gymnasium, one of the newest facilities in SDCT. While still in its opening phases, the department saw the building as underutilized by the SDCT and design community. This notion of utilization helped guide our research to better understand how AHG could be better utilized for Design students, staff, and faculty

Meet Space Camp
Our client team consisted of Space Camp, a service committee in the School of Design and Creative Technologies (SDCT). Their mission is to enable the spaces that SDCT and the Design Department (DES) occupy, primarily the Anna Hiss Gymnasium (AHG), which is a brand new and primary design building.

Bringing the Prototype to Life
For previous iterations of the website, I create this animation to feature a part of our prototype to potential clients using After Effects and Illustrator. This animation looped which activated the page from a static, typical landing website page.
Project Venkman Branding Guide
With a few logos and a sign installed in the office, I recognized Project Venkman's need for a branding guide. Using Illustrator and Photoshop, I created an entire branding identity that brought all the floating pieces of their brand into one document. This helped the entire team stay on the same page when making new design assets which kept a cohesive look throughout online platforms. From here, Project Venkman easily launched its social media to start applying what I laid out.
