Hi! My name is Grace Catherine Mensing. I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
As a designer, I am interested in learning about it all! During my classes at UT, I have sharpened my skills in graphic, branding, UX/UI, editorial, layout, 3D, and product design, as well as design research and space making.
In addition to juggling my student responsibilities, I work part-time as a Product Design intern for Project Venkman, a Web3 loyalty and celebrity NFT production studio based in Austin, Texas. During my time working for them, I have learned how to apply my design skills to real-world situations and honed my skills in Figma and website design.
Outside of design, I am active in other organizations. At the first entrepreneurship fraternity at UT, Epsilon Nu Tau, I lead the members as President by running weekly chapter meetings, planning events to promote innovation, networking, and philanthropy, and organizing internal operations.
I am also a member of my sorority, Alpha Phi. Whether I'm exploring Austin with my sisters, raising money for women's heart health by partaking in our philanthropy events, or helping out as a member of multiple committees, I try to be involved as much as possible.
In my free time, I enjoy painting acrylic pieces for myself or others and drawing with graphite. These activities help me to relieve some stress while also studying the fundamentals of form and color theory.
Let's get in touch!
Thank you for reaching out! I'll respond as soon as possible.
